What is tatami stone?
Tatamiseki is a strange rock formation on the island of Kumejima in Okinawa Prefecture. Formed by thousands of years of wind and wave erosion, its flat surface and rugged texture are quite mysterious.
Tatami stones can be seen all year round, but only appear when the tide is out.
