The beauty of renting a car is that you can get around the island at your own pace. They pick you up at the airport and the ride is comfortable. I thought it was an essential service for traveling to remote islands.

It would be a shame to waste time just at the beach in Hatohama! I decided to use a rental car to visit the island as well. Kume Island is much more fun when you can move around freely. The car was comfortable and a great decision.

The rental car was really convenient for sightseeing in Kumejima! It was easy to rent a car right at the airport and start sightseeing the moment we arrived.
