What is Shinri Beach?
West side of Kume Island,Shinri Beach is located just a short distance from Kumejima Airport.
The beach is home to many cute creatures such as crabs and hermit crabs, and under the right conditions, you can walk close to the atoll at low tide.
Because of the shallow water,It is a natural beach where families with children can enjoy playing in the ocean in relative safety!
How to play at Shinri Beach
The beach is ideal for snorkeling due to its easy access and shallow waters. The nearby beach park is equipped with showers and stores, and there is also a parking lot and camping sites.
Also, because of the proximity of the airport runway,If the timing is right, you can watch airplanes take off and land while swimming in the sea.
Shinri Beach is also famous for being the best place to watch the sunset because of its westerly location. Bathing in the sea while watching the sun set on the horizon will surely be a memorable experience.
