What is Miehger?
Mihu Gah is a strange rock over 20 meters high that towers over the northwestern coast.There is a large hole in the center of the cliff, which is said to have been formed by the collision of two rocks 4 million years ago.
It also means "woman rock" in the dialect, and is considered a symbol of women on Kume Island. It is believed to bring good luck to women who are not blessed with a child if they worship the rock.
How to play in Mihgar
From the nearby parking lot, you can walk to the rock pit area.
The rock wall is more than 20 meters high and has a great presence!Through the large hole, you can see the sky and blue ocean on the other side and feel the power of nature in the lapping waves.
At dusk, it is also a spot from which to view the beautiful sunset.
Also, in May, pure white tepee lily flowers can be seen all around this area.
