What is Okubu Island?

Okujima is a small island located 800m east of Kumejima, and is now easily accessible by foot or car from Kumejima after the opening of the new Oku Bridge in 1983. The island is full of attractions such as the Kumejima Sea Turtle Pavilion, the spectacular view of the national natural treasure Tatami-ishi (Tatami stone), and cute panda goats!
