Kumejima Sea Turtle Tour

We went on a beach excursion with our young child, and the staff kindly showed him how to handle the marine life—he was absolutely thrilled. As a parent, seeing my child’s smile when he spotted a cute clownfish in the natural pool is my greatest treasure. It’s also really great that we could participate without having to bring anything.

SUP in the beautiful ocean, which is said to be the best in the East, was the most refreshing experience. However, there was a bit of wind on the day and I had a hard time keeping my balance. We didn't see any sea turtles, but it was fun.

It felt great to go SUPing on the clear water! You can get a lot of beautiful pictures taken, so if you go to Kumejima, you should definitely try it!

Although it was a short tour, I was able to experience everything from operating the SUP to moving around on the water. It was fun to see how the color of the ocean changed from place to place, and it was fun just to keep going. I also liked the fact that I could have my picture taken.

I must have seen at least 20 sea turtles. I was surprised to see so many!

I was alone, but the staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease. We were lucky enough to see a sea turtle swimming in the water, which was a great thrill. I also got a free photo, which was a great souvenir.
